Favorite thing about renaissance faires is that they have fuck all to to with the renaissance. This thang is not about historical anything this is about dressing up like a fairy and watching a joust

what are you referencing in the tags of that sibling post?
HEHEHEHEHEHE.
SO. In the Golden Branch star sector, there was a war. On one side was Apostolos. The ruling house of Apostolos had three children. The youngest, Cassander, was a medic and soldier in the war. When their oldest sibling and the heir of Apostolos, Euanthe, is gravely, dangerously injured and expected to die, Cass becomes the heir presumptive and all the (unwanted) power and expectations associated with that.
(the middle sibling, Sokrates, defects to the other side sometime during this period for unrelated reasons. Sibling Betrayal #1)
At the end of the war, Euanthe makes a miraculous recovery and is reinstated, and because Cass is now embarrassing and dangerous, having once been heir, they are exiled from Apostolosian space and basically completely abandoned by their family and planet and people, and even when the emperor dies, they are ignored by Euanthe at the funeral. :( (Sibling Betrayal #2)
At the end of the season, (major spoilers for COUNTER/weight) a giant threat to the entire sector if not the universe has appeared and united almost everyone against it. Euanthe, Sokrates, and Cass are all on the same side and have seemingly reconciled (in the sense that they HAVE spoken and worked together and ruled together (it’s a long story that doesn’t matter rn) for five years.
The game played in order to defeat Rigour (the threat) requires each player/character to either sacrifice an important NPC or withdraw entirely from the battle. Some do.
Cassander sacrifices both their siblings in order to defeat Rigour. With Sokrates, they have a heartfelt final conversation before Sokrates dies.
When asked if they will submit or withdraw rather than sacrifice Euanthe, they reply without hesitation, “No. I was an only child for a decade.”
i just rmemebered the only reason Cassander was even AT their parent’s funeral/included in the will is because SOKRATES made it happen like imagine being the least favourite child when your sibling fought against you and your family in the war cass was so strong
The Lady and the Unicorn is the modern title given to a series of six tapestries created woven in Flanders from wool and silk, from designs drawn in Paris around 1500. The set, on display in the Musée de Cluny in Paris, considered one of the greatest works of art of the Middle Ages in Europe.
“According to my only wish.”
“The lady with the unicorn. Hearing”
“The lady with the unicorn. Touch”
“The lady with the unicorn. Smell."
"The lady with the unicorn. Vision”
“The lady with the unicorn. Taste”
I made my lovely wife very bored and the security guard very nervous to take closeup photos of these tapestries
look at the transparent outer sleeves of the Lady in the pavilion scene:
ENHANCE
alternating white rows with color to create transparency- clever
doing that while maintaining an underlying pattern, and shading folds in the transparent fabric? Absolute peak of mastery
